Private Wedding Dance Lessons
If your wedding is fast approaching and you would like to have a dance choreographed to your favourite music, we
have a limited number of lessons available at Te Atatu Peninsula on Tuesday evenings.
Consisting of four one-hour private lessons, just you and your fiance with one of our experienced instructors, we can choreogaph a dance to your chosen special music and guide you through how to come onto the dance floor, teach you a basic dance including a few fancy steps and turns, how to finish with a twirl and a dip and give you handy tips about what to expect etc.
Lessons are held in the evening in Te Atatu Peninsula and need to be booked well in advance (4-6 months), especially for the peak season of September-April – we suggest you should start your lessons approx 5-6 weeks prior to your wedding date. If necessary we are able to be flexible and work with couples who have shift work or work commitments that mean that they can’t come every week.
Total cost of the course is $240. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your needs.
Having trouble choosing a song for your first dance – just email us and we will send you a list of 20 Most Popular Songs that have been used by our clients over the last few years.
Beginners’ Dance Classes
Another option for wedding couples who have plenty of time before their big day is to attend one of our Beginners’ Dance Classes (see details on our Social Classes page) in which you will learn a variety of dances that you can use during the evening of your Wedding Dance, and then have one or two private lessons closer to the big day to sort out what you will do to your own music for your Special First Dance together. Some couples like to bring others from their wedding party/Mums & Dads along to the class to make a fun night of it.
